Welcome to Mr. Morford's College Information Page!
Spring College Fair at Phillips Exeter Academy May 1, 2012.
Please check the calendar for upcoming college dates.
One of the goals of the Winnacunnet High School Board is to ensure that all students are ready for post secondary education following their graduation from Winnacunnet. Below you will find general information about the process, as well as important dates and forms. Please click here for the newly revised College Handbook (January 2008).
When should students take standardized tests? Students hoping to attend colleges should take the PSATs in October of their Sophomore or Junior year and the SAT or ACT in May or June of their Junior year in High School. Seniors should take the SAT or ACT in October, November, or December of their Senior year. SAT subject tests should only be taken as required by individual colleges.
Please click here to learn more about comparing schools by SAT scores and to review Winnacunnet SAT scores.
To register for the ACT, please visit www.act.org. Registration for the PSATs will take place in the Guidance Department office. Please listen to/read the morning announcements for information about PSAT registration.
It is essential to begin planning for the college admissions process. To that end, here are a few important forms:
- Fall 2011 Letter to Parents/Parent Information Sheet
- Green Sheet
- Student Data Form
- Memorandum to all Seniors
- Disciplinary History Note
